I do not see this as a reason to slow down automation and AI in financial processes. I see it as an invitation to design better. Risk-based sampling, intelligent escalation, and AI helping prioritize what truly needs human attention instead of sending everything into the same queue. Automation’s efficiency gains only hold if the supervision design evolves with them.

This is an AI governance discussion from the start, not a compliance layer added at the end. When human attention is limited, deciding what deserves review becomes part of the product and the risk control.
