Newsletter privacy notice

This notice covers the subscription to the weekly Produto com IA email, which is written in Portuguese. Downloads and editorial contributions follow the site's privacy policy.

Who is responsible

Produto com IA, under the responsibility of Rodrigo Tozato, is the controller of the data described here. For questions or requests, write to rodrigo.tozato@icloud.com.

What we collect

Your email address, which is required, and your name, if you choose to give it. Along with them we record the page and language where you subscribed and, when the visit comes from a campaign link, the utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign parameters. The sending platform keeps the date of subscription and confirmation, delivery data and, when the feature is on, opens and clicks.

What we use it for

To send the weekly email and the welcome message, and to learn which channels bring subscribers. The material offered at sign-up is handed over on the site itself, with no further use of your data. We do not sell or share the list, and we do not use this data for anything else. The site's analytics counts form submissions without recording your email or name.

Legal basis and confirmation

Processing is based on your consent (Brazil's General Data Protection Law, LGPD, art. 7, I). You give it by submitting the form and confirm it through the link sent to your inbox. Without that confirmation, no newsletter email is sent.

Where the data is stored

The list is kept on Buttondown (buttondown.com), an email platform with servers in the United States. By subscribing, you consent to this international transfer (LGPD, art. 33, VIII), made only to send the newsletter.

How long

For as long as you stay subscribed. To leave, use the link in any email. To also delete the subscription record, write to the contact above.

Your rights

You can ask for confirmation of and access to your data, correction, deletion and information on who it is shared with, and you can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or writing to the contact above.

Changes

If the sending method or the data collected changes, this notice will be updated; the version and date at the top identify the text in force.
